You are invited to visit your child's classroom to meet and hear from the teacher. Orientation Meetings will begin promptly at the time listed below. You are then invited to meet with the Principal in the Auditorium at 9:00/9:45 am.

PTA Meeting - Tuesday, September 28th, 6:00 pm.
As a parent at PS124, you are a member of the Parents Teacher Association (PTA). Please come to your first meeting, Tuesday evening September 28th, 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
The Principal will have a report about the new school year. The new in-house dental program will be introduced.
Child care will be provided. Light refreshments will be served.
The PTA executive board is always looking for new members and volunteers. Your PTA is in room 213.
The 2010 - 2011 SLT is looking for a Parent RepresentativeThe School Leadership Team still has one vacancy for a Parent Representative.
The School Leadership Team is comprised of members from the teaching staff, administration, and parents. This committee reviews and improves upon the school curriculum. Each member of the SLT representative constituents in a particular grade or department.
This is a 2 year Term. SLT members must be available for all meetings. One monday a month (Sept - Jun) from 3:30 - 5:30 pm. One friday a month from 8:00 am - 9:00 am.
Parents who are interested should inform the PTA by Friday, September 24, 2010.

Notices about the first day of school have been sent home to all returning students. Files are also available here.
New School hours are: 8:55 am - 3:15 pm. Doors open at 7:50 am.
Extended Time: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 8:05 - 8:55 am, beginning September 21st.
Breakfast hours: M, F 8:00 am - 8:30 am, Tues - Thurs 7:50 am - 8:30 am
Kindergarten students: 1/2 day on September 8th and 13th. Full day begins September 14th.
No school on September 9th & 10th.
